Don't let the name fool you; this hotel is not located on Kapalua's old pineapple plantation. It's actually located in the heart of bustling Lahaina (the closest thing to a city on Maui ). It still has that plantation inn feeling, though. The hardwood floors gleam, the four-poster beds invite, and the antique furnishings lend yet another touch of style. The proprietors of this place haven't sacrificed modern comforts, however. All standard amenities, including central air conditioning and cable television, are provided. The beach and shopping are right outside.
