Discover the dramatic beauty of Hawaii on your own All-Terrain Vehicle! Choose from the Historical Ocean Cliff Trail, the 15-Mile Waterfall Adventure, or see it all on the 30-Mile Mountain to the Sea Adventure.

Historical Ocean Cliff Trail:  Cruise towering ocean cliffs and mountain streams and touch the ocean at a remote private pebbled beach on this guided historical adventure!  This is a 1.5-hour, very scenic adventure in pristine North Kohala - Hidden Hawaii.  Your professional guides will stop and share significant history along your journey while you enjoy breathtaking scenery.  Riding and controlling our ATVs is simple and tons of fun!  Everyone is taught proper riding techniques. No previous riding experience is necessary. The Morning Tour is an 8:30am check-in with a tour-time of 9:00am-10:30am.  The Afternoon Tour is a 12:30pm check-in with a tour-time of 1:00pm-2:30pm.

15-Mile Waterfall Adventure Ride:  Ride through the Kohala Rainforest, rich in tropical beauty, history and culture, and visit a private secluded waterfall on this 2.5-hour tour! Traverse through brisk mountain streams and enter a rainforest filled with native Hawaiian trees and canopies of ferns and flowers.  Then, hike to a private secluded waterfall.  Your guide will paint a historical picture of the rich culture in the area.   A visual rush of panoramic collages makes this a driving experience to remember.  The Morning Tour is an 8:00am check-in with a tour-time of 8:30am-10:30am.  The Afternoon Tour is a 12:30pm check-in with a tour-time of 1:00pm-3:00pm.

30-Mile Mountain to the Sea Adventure:  This 5-hour tour is a combination of the Historical Ocean Cliff Trail and the 15-Mile Waterfall Adventure Ride – you’ll see it all! Throughout the day you’ll visit several different waterfalls and visit the oldest rainforest on the Big Island. Then, enjoy a cool dip in a beautiful mountain pond, which a waterfall overflows into.  A light gourmet lunch is served at a spot fittingly called “On Top of the World” where you’ll take in spectacular panoramic views. From there, you’ll ride all the way down to the ocean to one of King Kamehameha’s favorite surfing spots. What a wonderful way to spend a day in Hawaii! Check-in for this tour is at 9:15am and the Tour Time is 9:30am-2:30pm.     NOTE: This tour requires a booking of at least 6 adults to operate with a maximum of 12

NOTE: Long pants and shoes are MANDATORY. All drivers must be at least 16 years old and weigh at least 90lbs, but no more than 300lbs. *Children between the ages of 5 and 15 will be passengers w/ guides. All tours can accommodate a maximum of 1 child per tour. Sorry, NO expecting mothers.

Kilauea Volcano Adventure 

 Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and back is a remarkable 250-mile drive, traveling over 4 volcanoes and making an elevation change of 37,000 feet as you go up and down over the mountains.  The drive will take you through Kona coffee and macadamia nut orchards, past Kealakekua Bay, South Point and the sugar plantation towns of Naalehu and Pahala.

Once in Hawaii Volcanoes National Park you’ll see a splendid native rainforest, visit a lava tube, discover remarkable volcanic formations, and experience a diverse change in geography and climate.   Through detailed geologic and natural history interpretation, small walks, and driving, you’ll explore and learn about the world’s most active volcano.  A picnic lunch is served en route and depending on what the current volcanic activity is you’ll make a trip down the Chain of Craters road in the park or leave the park early to head down to Kalapana, searching for some current lava flow.

The Menu:    Continental breakfast includes fresh island fruit, pastries, 100% Kona Coffee, tea, and juice.  Lunch includes your choice of deli sandwich (veggie, turkey, roast beef, pastrami, tuna, ham & cheese or combo (ham, cheese, salami & turkey), chips, chocolate chip mac-nut cookie and sodas.

Fluming the Ditch

Kayak through a historical sugar plantation on a guided cultural wilderness adventure - fun for the whole family!

On hot summer days on the old plantations, the most daring kids would grab an inner-tube or almost anything that floated, trespass onto the plantation and "go fluming" in the many ditches and flumes. "Fluming" was a wild, exciting, fun-filled childhood adventure with the risk of being caught! Now, the nostalgia of "fluming the ditch" can again be experienced in safety and comfort on tours led by experienced, local guides. You Will get wet!

You will travel through the otherwise inaccessible and historic Kohala Sugar Plantation irrigation system. This is a leisurely trip that meanders over a 3.5 mile scenic portion of the system, traveling through pristine rain forests, over ravines and waterfalls and through dark, mysterious tunnels. Your native guides are well informed of the Hawaiian history, culture and legends of the Kohala region. Kohala is the birth place of King Kamehameha and the site of the original King Kamehameha statue.

The Kayaks:  Stable, high-tech, double hulled, PVC coated inflatable kayaks with five-person capacity.

  Hawaii Snorkeling

Snorkeling Excursion

Snorkel along the pristine Kohala Coast of Hawaii. With convenient departure from Waikoloa Beach, this snorkel sail is perfect for those staying on the North West side of the Island.

Ocean Sports will provide you with four hours of ocean indulgence, as you explore exotic corals, colorful tropical fish, turtles, and more. Marine naturalists will get in the water with you to show you the remarkable marine life below, and teach you how to snorkel if needed. Snorkel locations vary and are selected daily based on ocean conditions.

There’s more to this excursion than just snorkeling... The majority of the year (April 16-Dec 14), the crew will sail you along the scenic Kohala Coast arriving at a secluded bay of jet-black sand, coconut trees and crystal-clear water. As you take in the dramatic views the onboard naturalist will share with you the history, geology and ancient culture of this beautiful hidden treasure. During Whale Season (Dec 15-April 15) you’ll be searching for Hawaii’s famous Humpback whales! Your onboard naturalist will share with you all kinds of fun whale facts and information as you sail the warm waters of the Kohala Coast. Hawaii offers a gentle environment for the Humpback whales to nurse their young, and it’s quite common to witness a mother swimming close to the surface with her baby calf.

The Menu:  Continental breakfast of assorted pastries and muffins, fresh fruit slices, juices, soft drinks and water. Deli lunch of assorted fresh luncheon meats and cheeses, condiments, pasta salad, Caesar salad, cookies, soft drinks and open bar.

The Boats:  You will be sailing on either the Sea Smoke or the Alala, both of which are smooth-sailing catamarans, made to glide effortlessly through the water.

Sea Smoke:  Winning numerous trophies, including three transpacific victories, Sea Smoke is the most celebrated commercially operated catamaran in Hawaii. This USCG certified, custom built 58' CSK sailing catamaran accommodates 49 passengers and features a full service bar, on board stereo, hydrophone for listening to marine life, indoor cabin, restroom, trampolines for sunbathing and spacious sun deck with comfortable seating.

Alala:  Named after the endangered Hawaiian Crow, this luxurious sailing catamaran features a spacious deck with ample seating for all passengers and first-class amenities. It’s a USCG certified, custom built 65'x30' catamaran that accommodates 49 passengers and features a full service bar, hydrophone for listening to marine life, luxury indoor cabin, restrooms, trampolines for sunbathing and spacious sun deck.
